A strategic terminal with a new logistics future.
UNOC operates the Jinja Storage Terminal (JST), a 30-million-litre refined petroleum products storage facility in eastern Uganda, combining strategic storage with hospitality services for oil marketing companies.
Storage, hospitality and supply resilience.
JST operates as a bonded storage facility serving clients and strategic government stock, while new rail, barge, jetty and pipeline links strengthen its logistics role.
Strategic capacity
The terminal provides 30 million litres of refined petroleum products storage in Jinja.
Commercial storage
JST provides storage hospitality for oil marketing companies alongside strategic government stock.
Multi-modal access
Rail access has been renovated, while barge transport, an oil jetty and pipeline connection support lake-based imports.
A terminal connected by rail and lake.
JST is being developed beyond static storage. A fuel pipeline and oil jetty link the facility to water transport from Kisumu, Kenya, alongside rehabilitated rail access.
